Frosty The Snowman

What an amazing day! My class had to plan, organise and clear up after a party for a part of their qualification. They chose the theme of fancy dress and they really made huge efforts with their costumes. There was a policeman, an elf, a santa, a hula girl, catherine tate and vicky pollard and loadds more. I dressed as a snowman. We had a fab time dancing, playing pass the parcel and musical statues.
And now with only a very short time until we break up it is going to be a time filled with a bit of work and loads of fun.
I love my job!

Superb birthday weekend

Jacob had a brilliant birthday! He was celebrating for days by going to friends birthday parties, getting spoilt rotten, going to restaurants and having his own party where he was Chief Farmer. I have to say, even though I organised it, it was the best children's party I have ever been to. J got a special rosette, fed the animals before his friends, got to ride a pony, play on the park and blow out the candles on the chocolate slab cake he had chosen. Fantastic - but now I am shattered and only have a little while to recover before my best friend is 30 and then it will be christmas!

Busy week

It has been ages since I updated - sorry Gemma. We have been having fun - been to Moscow State Circus, firework displays and Walsall illuminations. This week is full of children's parties. Jacob is 4 on Friday and his party is on Saturday at a farm. We are starting to feel really christmassy now and I am dying to put my tree up!
Will put photos on when my computer stops being silly.

Getting older

Richard is 40 today! We celebrated by going to Stratford at the weekend and staying in a suite at a lovely hotel. Very expensive but felt really posh. Jacob has gone to nursery very excited after watching Richard open his presents with a red balloon to show his friends. Took J shopping yesterday so he could choose a present for his Dad and he chose a remote controlled sand buggy. Not sure who will have the most fun playing with that!
